This site is about one car: the BMW M5 E60, built between 2004 and 2010. Not a catalogue, and not another spec sheet. The idea is to take the time to explain what makes this model unusual — the V10 engine, the sequential gearbox, the divisive styling — without glossing over the awkward parts, such as the premature rod bearing wear.
Every article is based on sources you can check, listed at the end of the page. Where sources disagree, we say so rather than picking a number at random.
This blog is a school project produced as part of a BTS CIEL (Cybersecurity, IT, Networks and Electronics) course in France. It serves as the basis for a web development assignment: a static HTML and CSS site, a bilingual structure, and written, sourced content. We are not affiliated with BMW or with any seller.
